| Microsoft, Apple, Linux, and Unix now ship all products with multi-screen computing capabilities. Over the last few years, video cards companies have worked to develop mulitple output video cards. This is, in part, due the the dramatic reduction in ram costs, and partly due to the new DVI technolgy designed to provide high resolution output to large high-end LCD screens. Due to this drop in price and the growing need for increased visual space the need for multi-screen systems is on the rise and has become essential to and compatible with all major operating systems.
